Pete Ashdown on The BBC

Pete Ashdown was on the BBC radio program this morning discussing some of his more revolutionary political ideas, particularly about his use of his "campaign wiki"

The link is here

The more I listen to him speak, the more I enjoy his ideas, and appreciate his candor. If elected he will bring a sense of purpose and collaboration to a group that is in dire need of such. When was the last time any politician asked for your opinion on anything? Orrin hatch certainly cares only for political donors, including such important utah industries as the RIAA, and various movie studios in Hollywood.

I know that Ashdown is a longshot. He has less money, less notoriety, and less political clout, but then again so did Hatch 30 years ago when he initiall ran for the senate.

30 years is a really long time...

Time for Orrin to retire and focus on his musical exploits........His music represents Utah, far better than his politics....

Local politics, Down with Hatch

Recently I have been increasingly interested in Utah politics. Let's face it, I have little to no chance of changing the minds of any senator or legislator on the national scene, but perhaps I might be able to make a difference locally.

As my family can attest, I have become somewhat outspoken regarding local politics. I have found some sites who's authors have much the same vantage point as myself, and write much more often
The World, According To Me Is well written, and very informative.

Take a special look at his "the Spirit of 1776" series. It certainly is time for Hatch to get out of Washington.
